With this function you can import measurement setups that you have created and saved in other configurations into your current configuration. This saves you time and effort that would otherwise be needed to repeatedly configure your measurement tasks.
Each configuration contains a separate measurement setup for Online mode and Offline mode. You can use the Import function in Online mode and in Offline mode.
You can import the entire measurement setup or parts of a measurement setup from other configurations.
Full Import
With the right mouse button click in the open area of the Measurement Setup Window, you can choose whether to import the measurement setup from Online mode, offline mode or both modes of your source configuration. The import target is the currently active mode.
Copy CAPL Code option
When this option is selected any existing CAPL programs will be copied to a user-specified directory during the Import. This is how you can prevent files from being overwritten unintentionally when importing.
Adjust Log Files
Entry of a new target directory for log files. This is how you can prevent log files from being overwritten.
Partial Import
With the right mouse button, click on the vertical line in your Measurement Setup, you can now import individual branches from your source configuration. The import target is the currently active mode (Online, Offline, and Offline (Copy)).
You can confirm all entries by pressing the [OK] button or discard all entries with [Cancel].
