CANoe.LIN is capable of fully simulating up to 32 LIN networks and any number of nodes. Together with its integrated CAN features, this is the ideal tool for developing and testing LIN nodes (Master and Slave), CAN-LIN gateways and CAN-LIN diagnostics.
Development Functions:
CANoe.LIN offers you sophisticated LIN development features:
- Easy simulation of LIN nodes/networks according to LDF (including multi-channel LIN Masters and gateways)
- Full support of LIN2.0 and LIN2.1 Slave reconfiguration
- Network management for LIN2.0, LIN2.1, SAE-J2602 and TOYOTA-LIN
- Script functions for modeling LIN nodes (including diagnostics)
- User-configurable and integrated panels for interactively manipulating signals, frames and scheduling
Test Features:
Using the Test Feature Set (TFS) for LIN, you can easily define, control and report your own LIN tests. With the Slave Conformance Test Module you can simply integrate conformance tests into your own test configurations. This special test module already supports LIN1.3, LIN2.0 and J2602 conformance tests. Support of the LIN2.1 Slave conformance tests is planned for the next version.
A ready-to-use implementation of the LIN2.0 Master Conformance Test (OSI-layers 2 and 3) is included in the scope of delivery.
Stress Functions:
To stress your LIN network with CANoe.LIN, no special hardware is required. The LIN Stress Feature Set provides you with a complete set of functions for stimulating errors (e.g. short message error, invalid checksum, etc.). Further functions are available for manipulating the LIN protocol during the measurement (e.g. sync break/delimiter length, interframe and inter-byte space, etc.).

CANoe.LIN provides you with the professional analysis features of CANalyzer.LIN:
- Network analysis according to LDF
