Multi-Site Applications with Global Team Support

• At large corporations, the employees who work with eASEE documents are often distributed over multiple work sites. Network connections to distant sites are often less powerful than communication via LAN at the corporate headquarters. This not only affects network latency, but also data throughput. The Global Team Support feature helps to accelerate work between distributed sites by transferring complete or partial replications of the file repository to the different sites.
  

• The design of the roles and rights system simplifies the process of adding new authorization types (such as setting up read rights based on select attribute values of specific objects) by the eASEE base system and for applications. The system is modularized so that it is possible to add an external system for user management (LDAP) at a later time or add other authorization types and checks (for object rights or configurative rights) in the base system.
